Our first day in Olvera we decide to cycle the Via Verde, even though Rob's electric bike is not working. The Via Verde is an old railway track so mistakenly we thought it would be a relatively level ride. The track goes through some wonderful countryside but to get onto it there is a very steep downhill section from the town. We did 44kms in all the first 22km all downhill the return journey of course all uphill, poor Rob.
