Cloppenburg

Just a few miles driving east and we cross the border into Germany.  Our first visit is to the Cloppenburge Museumdorf.  It is the oldest open air museum in Germany with a collection of 50 different buildings from the Lower Saxony area.  They have everything from barns to windmills.  It even has an old bakery which sells bread, which, of course, we had to sample.
