Down to the coast to camping Col Vert at Valencia. We took the bus into the old centre, and walked around the sights. It is a city of large squares and impressive buildings. We enjoyed looking around the indoor market, Mercado Central.
From there we took a tour of La Lonja, which is a gothic hall with superb spiralled columns.
I tried a Horchata, a cold milky drink made from almonds to cool down, Rob had his usual, ice cream. We carried on our tour with a look around the Cathedral and the Basilica and then onto the Torres de Serranos archway built in 1391.
A walk back to the Estacion del Norte, the Arte Nouveau railway station finished the day.
