Around the town of Arzachena there are many archaeological sites today we visit many of them. We have come across Giant Tombs and Necropoli before. but have never seen Nuraghi which are tower like fortresses dating from 4,000BC. There construction is amazing with inner corridors and domed towers. The only inhabitants now seem to be the geckos.
