Hameln and Hamelschenburg and Bevern

After travelling slightly south we come to the Weser valley which we intend to follow. Our campsite, Camping Heinsen, is right on the riverbank  Our first visit is to Hamelschenburg a moated castle built in the Weser Renaissance style.

We carry on to Hameln, arriving during a festival, the town was bustling the performers and stall holders.  We were around in the square on the hour so listened to the bells chiming and watched pied piper and the children coming out of the clock.

Bevern is our next port of call, another example of renaissance style architecture.
