Russell Falls and Queenstown

We head north from Kettering towards Queenstown.  On route we visited Russell Falls in the Mount Field N.P.  The weather is very poor but there is certainly plenty of water around to make these falls very impressive.  We carry on up the Lyell Highway through the Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers N.P. and Cradle Mountain and Lake St Clair N.P.  The journey was very exciting, we experienced snow, storms, fallen trees, high winds, saw water cyclones on the Kings River, all the waterfalls including Nelson Falls were extremely powerful due to the high rainfall.  We reached Queenstown in one piece and found a motel to rest up for the night.
