Stopped for night at St Germaine les Belles by lake side on pleasant site. Next day visited Oradour sur Glane, the site of the second worlds war massacre of an entire village by the SS. Now preserved as a martyr village exactly as it was left after the event.
Thought provoking visit, Rob not able to bring himself to take any pictures. On route later on we saw this beautiful restored post mill. Next night we stopped at Marboue at a riverside Aire. Much excitement as ther was an undercover police operation going on by the riverside.
