Passed through a very cold and wet Slovenia and stopped our first night south of Senj at Autocamp Raca (Sveti J
urai) terraced campsite in a ravine, met british bikers who gave us a few places to visit. Very windy that night! Returned to the motorway next day and drove onto camping Split. Visited the town with Diocletian's palace and the Roman remains of the town of Salona just outside the city. Temperature has soared to 39 degrees and the airborne firefighting helicopters and planes were in action over Split and Brac island.
