South Island,Marlborough Sounds

We caught the ferry to the South Island and arrived at Picton late afternoon

 and headed to the D.O.C. site at Double Bay. The road twists its way around Queen Charlotte sound to the Kenepuru Sound which is all part of the Marlborough Sound, sounds complicated doesn't it.

This is a beautiful stop over right on the beach only five slots so we hurried there to get ahead of all the other ferry traffic.
