We managed two gigs before Portugal post Christmas lockdown.

Christmas dinner. Just the two of us for lunch.

We managed to fit in lots of coastal walking as well as some inland trips before lockdown to our area.

These included a trip to the Zoo, our first time here.

Barragem Bravura.

Forest walk at Barao de Sao Joao.

Walk  Burgau to Salema with Pals.

Numerous Daily walks to Burgau and Porto Mos

Sagres and Bordiera

Wales, Caemaen.

We finally get back to Wales and decided we should do two weeks isolation after our return from Europe.

We managed to do our two weeks without having to shop and got stuck into the gardening.

The next months saw us building a greenhouse, creating new borders. putting In a new pond and walkway.

Also rebuilding a wall in the woodland grove.

Renovating the Chart house to create a garden shed and garden room.

Clearing pathways, cutting trees and shrubs, clearing a centre border and replanting.

Growing our seasonal veg and replanting everywhere.

Cleaned and restrained the caravan decking, Etc Etc.

We bought ourselves a little car to get out and about and a Patio set to dine outdoors.

We had a very long trip with Sarahs mum to Elan valley reservoir and encountered an antique Tractor Fest.

New also pulled in a visit to see our pals Cathy and Graham near Newbridge on Wye in their new home.

Castro Verde, Malcata & Friexo de Espada.

Leaving the coast behind we travel inland and northwards Overnighting at each of these sites following the Douro Valley.  Keeping up to date with the Covid situation across Europe, we discovered on our arrival at Friexo that the Portuguese and Spanish Borders were about to close.  Cutting short our plans we headed quickly north through Spain and into France.  We managed to get as far as Bordeaux to a camper stop at Libourne, meeting up with Dean and Dawn who were also escaping Spain.  The next day we travelled all the way to the EuroTunnel and continued to South Wales arriving in the early hours of the next morning in the rain.  Not the best way to finish a winter away!
