Seville

We took a Trip to Seville to drop off Dean at the airport for his trip back to the UK.

Jerez

Birthday present of a stay at Casa Palacio Maria Luisa.
Courtesy of my wonderful Family.

We were spoiled with a superb evening of food and drink in a tasting menu.

What a great night.

Thanks Gang.

Pinar San Jose.

Saying goodbye to Portugal until the New Year we head to Pinar San Jose Camping, Zahora, meeting up with our pals again and quickly into musical gigs at Alhambra and Los Pinos Hotels.

This winter was extra special as Rob celebrated his 70th Birthday in October.  With family and  friends arriving from all over Europe, more than 60 people descended on the campsite and we partied in style.  We started with a lunchtime buffet organised by Sarah with help from the ladies, and in the evening in the bar for paella and evening of music by our band "Rewired".

Rob said it was the best birthday ever.  He was birthday cake for weeks.

Cabanas.

After spending a week at Touristcampo at Luz, a campsite we have wintered at before, we headed east to revisit the campsite Ria Formosa at Cabanas in the eastern Algarve.

Vale de Telha (Shirley and Paulo visit)

Called to visit our friends Shirley and Paolo further down the coast and took a  trip with them to reacquaint ourselves with this stunning Atlantic coastline.

Porto Covo, Sines.

Over to the coast to check out some new Campsites.

This one is near Sines and is a lovely campsite but might be a little cold in winter.

Nice village centre with lots of cafe and restaurants.

Castro Verde.

We continued into Portugal and spent overnight at the deserted Bird Reserve.

La Alberca, Sierra De Francia.

Beautiful Hill top village with an Aire on the outskirts. We enjoyed a stroll around this medieval village and bought some Lovely Honey from the outdoor market on the square.

Pic D'Orhi & Ochagavia.

Crossing over to Spain we chose one of our favourite passes the Pic D'Orhi.

Always spectacular views and we never tire of it. A lovely way into Spain, so much better than boring tunnels.

Reaching the Spanish side we come into some lovely villages. the houses all seem to be prettily adorned with white and red flower boxes.

Mauleon (Eddy and Terri visit)

Carrying on our way South we head to the French Pyrennees to our camp site at Mauleon where we meet up with Chas and Shell. We have come here to visit our friends at Barcus, Eddie and Terri and to catch up and play some music.
