Castelo de Vide

Took a walk over the hill into Castelo de Vide along a Medieval road . The town has a nice Moorish castle and a Jewish quarter with a typical washing area as in the last picture of this set. 

Armacao camp and Alte and Rocha da Pena

Back to Armacao de Pera where we stayed for a month. Went to Alte, supposedly the prettiest village in the Algarve, well it was very nice.










Then we went to Rocha da Pena, which we found after a few false starts. The walk was beautiful in the hills with so many different flowers you could not count.



A must for anyone visiting this area.
