Bourtange

For our final day in the Netherlands we visit Bourtange.  It is a fortress town from 1580.  It has a star shaped defence system of moats and has been restored to what is looked like in the 18th Century.  A superb visit and a lovely bike ride back to our campsite finished a very enjoyable stay in the Netherlands.  With plenty of places to see yet we will definitely be returning.
