Another day, another canyon this time Anisclo, much closer to the campsite. The road becomes a one way route halfway up and goes through a very deep and narrow canyon.
We were held up for a while by road workers filling in the potholes but eventually arrived at the car park.
We walked in the opposite direction from most of the crowd and had a delightful walk up the lower gorge as a result. The butterfly population was remarkable and I finally got one to settle on my hand for a change, Sarah is usually luckier than me.
The descent from the car park is over the tops of the mountains with wonderful views all along. This ride is a must for scenery lovers.
