Zoutkamp and Lauwersmeer National Park
Crossing the amazing Afsluitdijk.
We find a lovely small campsite at Zoutkamp, set in a orchard with 5 plum trees ready for harvesting .... plum crumble yum, yum.
A short scooter ride takes us to the Lauwersmeer National Park where we spend the next few days walking and bird spotting. Managed to see a Ruddy Shelduck for the first time.
