Today we are off to see another cliff face but this time home to a tiny rock monastery from the 14thC with some lovely frescoes. There are many rock monasteries and church in this area, but the one we went to see had been left undiscovered until the 1900s as the rock path from the balcony around the rock edge had disappeared so there was no access.
After the monastery we go for a short walk along the river valley.
